In the spring of 1998, Andy Hawk began making plaster castings of brown bear tracks on Kodiak Island. The casts were so impressive, he wanted to share them with others who are interested in nature, so Andy started his own business and called it Trax of Alaska. He and artisan/engraver James White continue to create new replications, stylized castings, and novelties of real Alaskan wildlife tracks, so please check back often.
